Welcome to Nyborg Strand, Denmark and the fourth NordTick conference!

NordTick is committed to bring young scientists and senior researchers together to discuss their current research and build informal networks with their peers that may lead to fruitful collaboration and scientific achievement around ticks and tickborne diseases.

The conference will consist of scientific sessions covering different aspects in the area. All participants are encouraged to submit contributions to the conference, either for oral presentation or poster. There will be key note lectures, short oral presentations and posters.

Social program 16 April (optional)

Join us for a beerwalk in the ancient city of Nyborg. On this 2 hour walk we will hear about - and taste - the historical significance of Nyborg in the history of Denmark; the Parliament of the Middle Ages, regicide, the Napolean wars and knight tournaments.

On our way, Peter Pelle, a local ranger and nature interpreter, will enlighten us on the unique biodiversity in the area surrounding Nyborg Castle. So come clench your thirst for history, nature and local Danish brews!

Time: Tuesday April 16th from approx. 5PM to 7 PM

Price: 150 DKK per person, including guided tour and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and snacks.

What to bring: shoes for walking, an umbrella if rain
